Are you looking for a couple of set favourites or looking for out of print books in general? You could try Awesome books, I think that they might have some out of print books but not sure.

Books I have never read only seen the covers of and would like to trace if possible. They were available 1968 and 1971. I will try on line and your suggestion thanks.

Deffo Google. There was a firm specialising in such books, I know, because I used them once, but that was long ago and far away, and besides, the wench is dead....
Sorry, but I can't remember their name.

I thought to ask here first as never looked for out of print books before. Both titles were unavailable on Amazon no surprise as old. BUT I found them very easily on Abebooks.co.uk in Canada, the country where the author lives. A lovely gentleman I recently had the honour of meeting :-)

You may be able to get out of print books from either Amazon or Ebay, but if those books suddenly become popular again, when the author dies, for example, then the prices shoot up.

I fail to see how what I posted merits quite such a response.

Whether you realised the connection with my name and your obscure (to me) quote I have no idea, I could see no connection. It seems to me that you post something then when somebody does not understand or like it you turn it back on them. You are now on ignore so we don't fall out over mis understanding each other we seem to have been doing for some time now.
