Myself and Mrs P have amena sim cards that the airtime is now supplied by Orange. Does anyone know how to set up voicemail via the handset in English. I have seen sites on the net that charge 30 euros for the English voicemail. Any idea why.We have had them three years and i have never bothered, But it would help sometimes when I am given orders by the Ayatollah Mrs P whilst I'm out and about.

Dial 232, wait for the option for change account details, then idioma, then select English. Sorry, but I cannot remember the number sequence!

I called the number shown 232 , It already had English selected but didn't mention voice-mail in any of the options any ideas? Thanks for your help anyway.

Mine's also orange ex-Amena but it's been activated since shirtly after I got it and I can't remember how I did it.

Dont understand that at all. I just want to leave my own message for people to leave and voice mail, pick up message and then delete afterwards. Cant be that difficult surely.

You should be able to do this by dialling 242. That's how I did it, anyway.

Hi, rung 242,and yes it is the answer phone. I want to leave my own message in english to tell people to please leave a message or call my home number. How do I do that. Also how do I delete messages. God, Stupid here

not sure about your service, but most, when you listen to the options (after you have listened to the message), just listen for 'borrarlo' & make a note of the number

borrarlo = to erase it
