it at least means the fees are about on a par with private International schools. Not really, most international schools are around 750 - 800€ a month (I mean a month not a term lol)! Altho there are a few more "add ons" with MIT jo xxx |

jo xxx I just looked at their websites - I didn't realise secondary was so very much more:eek: suddenly from about 500 a month in yr6 primary it goes up to about 750 a month in yr7 (1st yr secondary) |
Re: opinions please??
They are still a lot less expensive than private education in the UK. Personally if I were paying I would want a school with a record of successes like Aloha or EIC. How many have passed exams, gone on to further education etc.

Re: opinions please??
I don't think Yeats is referring to the PTA (parent teacher association), rather to the Parque Tecnologico de Andalucia!
I'm not going to opine too much on the subject but as Lynnxa says, the translation is appalling, it's the usual story of tons of money spent on every area of a project other than what often matters most: getting the company's message across in correct language that isn't gibberish! How can you take a bilingual school seriously if the English on the website is nonsense?! "The common vivency", for heaven's sake! Yes, I am a nitpicker, but details matter. The school looks great on paper but I would carefully check out the bilingual aspect carefully: are they employing native English speakers? To be truly bilingual the teachers must be native speakers. Spanish English teachers often speak very poor English, I have a dear Spanish friend who teaches secondary school English and his spoken English is terrible! |
Re: opinions please??
The Lake Classroom looks great by the way, lessons by the lake, I don't know why more schools don't do classes outside, get kids interested in nature and wildlife, however low key, as so many parents never teach their children anything about the natural world and some kids are growing up not loving the natural world. Just my little environmental education rant!

Re: opinions please??
One more thing and I'm gone: confirmed that it is a machine translation Lynnxa, spot the ridiculously funny mistake!
"The examinations that are promoted in our project are those of Trinity College of London, those of the University of Cambridge and those required to join American and Canadian universities: YLE, KET, PET, FCE, FALLS DOWN, CPS, TOEFL, TOEIC, ECCE." |

A high proportion (whether than means 5% or 75% I dion't know) of english students might show up the failings of those who teachers don'treally know english. On the other hand, if parents are just looking for their children to learn english, then mixing with a high proportion of english students might do that for them anyway, |
