Default Oliva ????

Hello everyone,

Need some advice please !

We've sold our house in the UK just awaiting to exchange contracts and completion

Me, my hubby, 3 year old son and 16 month old daughter are upping sticks and moving to Spain....

We stayed in Oliva for a few days and viewed some houses in a few different villages and towns.

My husband fell in love with Oliva, mainly because of the glorious beaches.....friendliness.....and Spanish feel with an English ex-pat community.

Just wondered if anyone had any views on this area, is it suitable for a young family ? Any other towns within this region that would be great for young families ?

We are going to learn Spanish, have downloaded a course. My husband has a job, working from home.....

Any help and advice would be much appreciated.

Many thanks

Mich x

Oliva is a great choice, further south it is much more expensive and more British, further north and less Brits, more Spanish.

I think you have found a place with a good mix for your young family.

Oh thanks alot Mark......hoped we had made a good choice as it felt right

But you can read too much and get scared that you had made the wrong decision.

Well thanks again Mark, and take care

Mich......... (sitting in dull grey although quite mild Britain wishing I was in Spain already)

No problem Michelle, it's blue skies and 23 degrees today in Javea - fantastic.

I have commented on Oliva in the other thread on families in Spain.
