Default OAPs and Teachers etc more cash in 2009

PENSION INCREASE FOR 2009

The September RPI determines the pension increase for the following April. Therefore, from 06 April 2009 both the state retirement pension and Civil Service pensions will increase by 5.0%.

But is that 5 percent of the basic pension or 5 percent of the total including any graduated or SERPS?

http://www.cspa.co.uk/ Not a retired teacher then jj. They would have checked the website. ........................................... ............. Maybe not.

Teachers are not in the Civil Service Pension Scheme.

So where does that leave me, as the now ex-wife of a Civil Servant who is due to retire within the next year or so & with some of his pension rights?

So a teacher who took early retirement when she was 50 and is on £20,000 a year but is fully capable of working still....but has moved to Spain...is she going to get an increase????

My Christmas Bonus was paid in today. 10 pounds, oh what am I going to spend it on? I am now wondering when the other 60 will be paid, assuming it´s happening.
