If I recall correctly the "old vauxhall" was a 6 cyl and even my maths cant get 16 valves into a 6 cyl motor.

Why don't all manufacturers build the valves fail safe - like mazda?

Depends on the age of the child. Toddlers here go to kindergarten at 18 months and stay in the same class group until they go to secondary. If the kids are under 12 years then they pick up the language easily. 12 and over are sometimes problematic but to no real extent. I personally do not like the International schools as the kids are fine in term time but tend to be out on a limb during the long, long school holidays [kids from Canada, USA etc mostly go back to their mother nation during these times]

Thanks keddyboy. My kids are 2 1/2 and 5 months. I'm just a bit concerned about the fact that if they go to a state school their English will be of a lower standard. I haven't really looked into schools at the moment but assumed that English would be taught there like french, spanish etc are taught here just the basics.
