Re: Not for the faint hearted
The spaniards of old don`t really care about the welfare of animals... the thing about `keeping pets` is a relatively new` idea.. and when I say `new` I mean in the last 15 years or so. Spain isn`t in the dark ages, I know... but their way of thinking is well, if he is shagging the dog then he is leaving the kids and the women alone. Im sorry, I will have upset loads of people, Im sure ... but ...... I remember being in Spain - not tourist areas - when I was a kid and the animal cruelty was horrendous. When I cried the other kids laughed at me and couldn`t understand why it bothered me so much.

You are unbelievable.
I don't give a stuff about animals - I eat them, probably wouldn't kill one myself but thats why we have butchers, and if I want an afternoon out sometimes I'll go the Zoo. What he did and the fact he did it in front of your kids I fund a little destasteful, but I accept that in many parts of the world - animal love and worse is OK - maybe the case that it is tolerated in Spain? seems to be? Move to a country that is more aligned to your sensibilities if you're out of step? |
Re: Not for the faint hearted
Can you imagine what would have happened in the UK if you shot at someone like that??

Yet some people who idolise animals move to Spain - weird - did the Bullrings not give them a clue of what might be considered "good form"?? |

Yet in many places in Africa its an every day hazard, I don't like the idea of that - so don't go there.

Tony Martin was jailed for being stupid. Had he been a bit more careful he would have had a chance of getting away with it.
Those soco boys know their stuff. |

Unfortunately in the UK it is considered extremely bad form to shoot someone in the back when they are trying to get away from you.
That's what makes it murder. Had their wounds been in the front, that's another thing. He's free now, true. |
