Did anyone watch the new series "Walking through History" with Tony Robinson on Channel Four last night.
The river of my childhood.
Repeated on Four Seven tomorrow at 7pm UK time

When I saw the title, I thought for sure it would be all about the good old days of the peseta.
Remember when life was so easy going and laid back, hardly anyone had a care in the world and everything was as cheap as chips. ?
Now all the threads are doom and gloom,
Can we afford to live in Spain ?
Where can we stash what's left of our savings ?
Will the banks, the taxman or the burglars rob us first ?
Come to think of it, I suppose they're all burglars anyway, ....only some have the law on their side.
It's a wonder half the posters haven't already got ulcers and the other half blood pressure going through the roof.
