Went to National Police Station at Malaga today to have fingerprints for completion of Residencia. In and out in 8 minutes. Applied in January and was expecting a plastic card but no, dont issue them anymore from Malaga and got certificate of Residencia instead which means carrying around passport once more. Just thought youd like to know!!

Been like that since March, plenty of previous threads on the subject, I feel it's a backward step and the cards were far better. You can have you passport photocopied and reduced to credit card size, but that's not accepted everywhere.

When I read the title I thought your missus had taken your credit cards away!!!!

I thought that he had just burnt the credit cards and because possession is nine tenths of the law.... The debt had been written off! Oh well we can dream!
