Nice Hotel in Moacar
My wife and I and our 2 girls (13 & 11) are looking for a nice hotel in Mojacar or surrounding area, for a week at the end of this month, can anyone recommend one to us please.....thanks.....John.
ps...we are driving from Arroyo de la Miel (Benalmadena.) |
Re: Nice Hotel in Moacar
Ask on a travel forum like Trip Advisor. There you will find something that will sit your budget which you have not given us.
Enjoy your vacation |
Re: Nice Hotel in Moacar
Hi thanks for that,I am aware of sites like TripAdvisor etc, but I find people are too eager to find the bad points about places and tend to be negative. I thought I might find someone on here who lived in Mojacar and could recommend a hotel or even an apartment, as for budget - no limits within reason.
thanks John |

John But I always try and book when they have offers on http://www.parador.es/en/cargarFicha...do?parador=051 |
Re: Nice Hotel in Moacar
The Parador is nice - although 'modern'. We have lots of large tripper hotels and a few smaller places which are, of course, more agreeable. You can check the Mojácar Oficina de Turismo. I'd recommend a small family one on the beach near the riverbed with cabins and a pool called the Hotel Rio Abajo http://www.rioabajomojacar.com/ or, slightly larger, the Hotel Puntazo http://www.hotelelpuntazo.com/cms/ , also on the beach (on the disco and bars end).

I have got to agree with that Lenox, after two days at Mojacar we moved on to Jaen which despite it's appearance is also very new.

If its not too late, try the Indalo.
We have stayed in Mojacar about 8 times in different hotels, and this was the best one. |

But personally the location was rather good.

Make sure you don't have a room overlooking the carpark. The restoration was a bit overzealous:unsure: |
