An unsolicited URL was removed to a site that vdubber is quite within rights to post in his signature. Thats been dealt with, and we should move on

Quick suggestion dont know if it can be implemented but would save a lot of moaning maybe, when I came on here first I think I had posts removed ro whatever for not reading the rules, was called a spammer which IMO I wasnt but I understood then I went on about not knowing any rules and and got flamed bigtime, fair enough,

Maybe when you join It could have simple T&C conditions that could be made easy to read and then a box has to be ticked and you get your email to login.

I do think a lot of people would understand more, just my thoughts

Maybe three people who have a record of moaning and groaning about several threads should have their knuckles rapped too. 'Keyboard warriors'

Look, be fair .... you're relatively new on this forum so best to let it rest and start afresh, eh?

Actually in the welcome email that is sent upon registration it asks for the member to familiarise themselves with the site rules before posting, and a link to the site rules is included.

All I can say is I have read your PM and I agree, I am very rude, and can be a little unpleasant. I should be more compassionate towards people and have a little more tolerance, I should learn to read posts, I am far too quick to judge, I should change my ways.

But hell, where is the fun in that??

V.dubber, Im new too. I read this forum for weeks before I joined and posted my first post. I was a nervous wreck cos I knew what everyone was like and I was going to end up asking ALL THE SAME QUESTIONS that theyve heard over and over and over and over and over... but they were very patient with me. I did cock-up on my second day when a post I wrote was taken the wrong way and I was gently castigated by Mitzy. These posts are like text messages - the tone cannot be heard and they can be read wrongly or taken the wrong way and get us into trouble.
Ive realised that although all the `old ones` (sorry guys) have a go at each other constantly they are in the same `gang` and if you kick one then they all limp.
On saying that, they are all very friendly (some of them eventually) ... and will be with you too.
Start again. This will all be forgotten.
Debs xx

P.s - does anyone know why my smilies wont work? When I click on one to add to my post nothing happens.

Go into "my options" then "edit options" scroll down to "thread display options" and check the boxes are ticked there.
