New legislation for chlorine in swimming pools

New legislation for chlorine in swimming pools
I recently attended an AGM of a Community and the question came up about new legislation regarding the automatic treatment of swimming pool water.
From the information that was given it seems that this new legislation has various parts depending whether the pools are private, shared or commercial.
The gist of the new legislation is that the water must be treated before it enters the pool so that no users of the pool can come into contact with the undiluted chemicals.
The pool maintenance company for this Community believes that it is not compulsory to install this automatic treatment equipment if the surface area of the pool is under 200 sq m.
Another qualified pool maintenance man of my acquaintance believes that installing an automatic tablet dispenser inside the pool pump housing is enough to comply with the law as the water is treated before it enters the pool.
Can anyone point me to this new legislation for the official version?
If it is compulsory for Community pools, at what date must the work be completed?
Does anyone have any views on this new legislation please?

Re: New legislation for chlorine in swimming pools
Our pool builder made us aware of this last year. He offered to install the relevant equipment into a feed line in the pump housing. However at a cost of 500€ for the related dispenser and monitoring electronics we said no. You do need liquid chlorine as well, something that is infinately more dangerous to life than granules or blocks.

You can buy an inline dispenser for chlorine tablets from some ebay sellers.
It fits in the line between the sand filter and the return jets.
here's an example

Thank you Billgates but I was more interested in what the new legislation actually says so that our pool maintenance chappy can advise us further.
