Morning all,
Have been living in Madrid for nearly 2 years now and don't know a single english speaking person so I have decided to get off my butt and do something about it as I miss speaking in my native ways and most of all the British sense of humor.
My name is Rory, I work for a catering company. I am very settled in Madrid but have only recently began to feel at home and loose some of that homesick feeling as I left all my mates (who arn't that many in either London or New zealand. I moved out here to be with partner so its very easy to be content in our own litttle bubble.
Anyway thats me in a nut shell
Ps have finished a 14 hour shift so my brain is it a bit fried.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Like you we do not mix with the English as we live with the Spanish so our only connextion now is via BE and as you say it is easy to live in your own little bubble. We have retired to Spain so not getting worn out by work. Hope you find some like minded souls on here to chat with.
