Default The "New Deal"

Anyone heard anything about this yet? Supposed to be a 60 billion euro scheme to attack high unemployment in the EU. I suspect the banks will get hold of that money though...

Edit - Spanish report here - http://cincodias.com/cincodias/2013/...06_624117.html

Afraid I have to agree with you on this.
No doubt there will be a few "schemes" but with youngsters pretending to work or be trained.
A far better policy would be to reduce taxes, especially vat and insurance. But the ECB says NO.

The French now have a plan to tax smartphones and tablets. Interesting. If that works no doubt Spain will adopt it?

as the eu gets a % of all vat this would impinge on all their "good works" in providing subsidies to Caribbean banana growers to compete against the Eu's local/internal growers of the same product.,
Providing aid to countries like Pakistan to allow their children to be vaccinated and educated because the spend only 1.9% of their GDP on that whilst 54% on their military and servicing debt. In fact only 860,000 people pay income tax out of 180million.
And the EU is providing an additional layer of aid over that already provided by the nation countries.

Remember the EU is providing subsidies and free trading to Bangladesh to enable them to ship cheap clothing into Europe, killing off the internal market and providing more EU people to the dole queues, being disposessed from their homes.

Article on the "New deal" in English here :-
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-0...ess-youth.html
The blueprint will be unveiled in Paris on May 28 and will enroll the European Investment Bank to unlock billions of euros in loans to companies that create jobs for young people, the Rheinische Post reported today. The proposals are part of a joint initiative termed a “New Deal for Europe” that echoes former President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s drive to cut U.S. unemployment in the 1930s, the newspaper said.
