A while ago, I remember someone posting a question about whether anything had happened about the long promised sewage treatment plant in Nerja, and the answer was a resounding NO.

Just thought they might be interested to know that it seems it is going to happen at last:-

I have been reading about that since the 90's Nerja lost it's blue flag, surprised it ever had one.

Burriana still has a blue flag despite the sh*t slick rolling in when the town gets busy. Seeing people dive headfirst into that muck is unbelievable!

Yes I did see it. That's why I mentioned "long promised" and "at last" in my post. Even if everything they said yesterday happens when they say it will, it will still be a minimum of 4 years before a new plant would be operational.
