Hi all,
We are looking to move over to the Nerja area towards the end of September. The whole family are keen on the move but we would really appreciate any advice about schools, residencia etc. As the move is now
starting to get quite close we are also looking at getting a long term rental. So any suggestions of a good Agent would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Ian.

Thanks

There are some properties listed as available for long term rental in Nerja on the www.spainhouses.net website (Rentals Section). Not a huge amount, I have to say as most of the rental properties in Nerja are for holiday lets.

You will have no problem getting a winter let in Nerja from end Sept to April.
The summer period sees rents going up threefold so few people are happy to rent out for 12 months.
That said, there are a lot of new appartments and some of these may have been bought as an investment which gives you a better chance of a longer term let.
You might be better off further west between Torrox and Torre del Mar.
If you are looking for private schools there is a good one in Almunecar and long term rentals are easy there.

Thanks a lot for that. I've had a look on the site and there's certainly plenty to choose from (and in the price bracket I was thinking of
).

kyero is an excellent site, with properties of ALL ranges.
FYI kyero is basically a "house" search engine - all the agencies can list their houses on there and the website is like a search engine to search thru all of them instead of you having to go to all the different websites.
they handle rentals and sales.
