Need your help please!!

Hi Dave.....
The advice you have got is fab! The people on this site really helped us before we came out to Spain 6 months ago.
We didn't have the time to learn Spanish in evening classes...as I worked in the evening and hubby in the day.
We downloaded Rocket Spanish before we moved out here which was great. But there is a fabulous course on
http://www.therosettastone.co.uk/en/.../spanish-spain
I want it ...it looks so easy to learn!!
But my husband is having lessons, and unfortunately we are unable to afford both !
Anyway, I'd say definitely definitely have a job, or some sort of business plan before you come out. It is a fantastic place to live but we have been here only 6 months and a lot of Brits have had to sell up and go home during that time, due to not enough work out here. What seemed to be the case with many families, was the husband had to work in the UK - commuting !!! Coming back at weekends.....obviously they just couldn't sustane that lifestyle. It's such a shame.....
You seem to have your heads screwed on, so just keep investigating.....work out where you want to live. Spend time there....and find your niche.
I know here in Oliva, there are a lot more Brits than we imagined.....so Estate agents are rife, but I have noticed they aren't any indoor childrens play area's.....like soft play areas they have adjoined to Pubs/Restaurants.....
If we had the money I would definitely invest in that ....as now the winters upon us, the parks are too cold...and so are the beaches.
Just thought I'd share that
Fingers crossed for you both.
Mich
