Can you point me to where you got that information as their "about us" page still says that they will only give permission on an individual basis.
We will confirm our requirements on an individual basis, so please contact us first as we retain all copyright and don´t allow publication, distribution or copying without our express permission.

Thanks for that. It appears that the request about informing them is not mandatory, just a request.
On that basis posting from their site would be OK, but I would still prefer that only a paragraph or two is posted, not an entire article - a link is what should be used for that.
A great site and information you can trust for once!

interesting to hear that, although their information is not always 100 % it should be checked as well, but is more efficiant than "the man in the pub"

Re: n332.es remove copyright
Why do you say it is not 100% ?
Do you know better than the Guardian Civil?
Examples please.

Re: n332.es remove copyright
on their facebook group there was a large discussion re driving licences which they edited 3 or 4 times until the information matched that of the dgt, then deleted entirely and reposted with the correct information.
just things like that, im not saying that they are wrong every time.
and no Fred, i dont know better than them i just like to keep on top of changes etc

Maybe folks would like to know this facebook/blog run a by a Mr Mark Nolan, This man is locally known for his work as a journalist.
n332.es website details obtained from https://www.nic.es.
This is his website News and reviews from Spain and beyond, from Mark Nolan on the radio and in the paper.
more about the man and his radio show. News and reviews from Spain and beyond, from Mark Nolan on the radio and in the paper.
Although it is said the news published on n332 comes from the GC I, personally have yet to establish proof that is is run by the GC.
I tend to follow other informative and more informative GC Facebook pages.
But these are not in English.
https://www.facebook.com/DGTes
https://www.facebook.com/GuardiaCivil.es
https://www.facebook.com/guardiacivil062
I should also say I asked a question on the n332 Facebook page which has been answered on this forum but they could not and gave some woolly non-committal answer. The reply got me thinking that perhaps this is not all it should be.

Re: n332.es remove copyright
Some of the blame for that is caused by the UK photocard licence where it is not immediately clear how long it is officially valid for. The actual card has to be renewed every 10 years, and that is the date on the front, but the eligibility to drive (shown on the back) is based on when you are 70.
If you take the former as the expiry date, it does not need to be exchanged, but if you take the latter option, age 70, then in many cases it must be exchanged.
It now is accepted that it is the 10 year date that counts as the expiry date, so UK Photocard licences do not have to be exchanged until they need renewing after 10 years.
Apart from that, the information, so far, seems to be up to date and accurate.

However, whoever the author is, if it didn't have the support of the local GC it would not be allowed to be published.

Certainly a native English speaker doing the writing. Useful information written in English for those who take a vacation here and those who unfortunately do not have a command of Spanish.
The official Facebook pages sometimes use words which we have never had the need to use even after all of these years living and working in Spain.
One word of warning that is missing from both Spanish and English traffic information is you never know which way to jump when stopped by traffico.

This article makes it clearer the relationship between Mark Nolan and Guardia Civil. The GC set up the Facebook page and Nolan runs the website which is backed by the GC.
Orihuela Town Hall Helps International Residents with Driving Talk | N332 – Driving In Spain
......website manager Mark Nolan introducing the idea behind the N332 project and the creation first of the Facebook page by members of the Guardia Civil in Torrevieja, and the subsequent creation of the website by a separate group of professionals to catalogue the information in order to make it easier to find.

Thanks for that Mark.
It makes it quite clear who is involved.
As I said before, an excellent and useful site. Maybe they could talk to Hacienda and get them to set up a similar site about Spanish tax matters!
