Windows XP:
Restart the PC
as it starts up repeatedly press F8 until you are prompted to select the boot mode - select "Safe Mode"
Next select "Windows XP" from the list
Allow Windows to start
When prompted to log in select "Administrator"
click "OK" to the message about what safe mode is
Click the start button and select "run'
in the box type
control userpasswords2
include the space and the number 2 at the end! and then press enter
From the list that appears select the password to reset, and hit the reset password button!
ENJOY!
