Has anyone got any info on Murla ie: is it close to shops etc, is there an ex pat community? Transport links. Wondering because I am looking to buy in Spain very soon (selling UK home - under offer at the moment) Seen what looks to be a very nice house within budget, just dont know the area.

Stayed there last year in a rented villa. Very quiet , very small village , no shops to speak of and probably no ex-pats - or very few. We have just bought a house near Teulada , much closer to the sea , and ruled out Murla in the early days of our search.

My advice would be to find the area you want to live first, then to choose a property in that area
Thats what I normally do. There's no point living in the nicest house in the world if its in the middle of nowhere and you like to live with lots of neighbours and things to do

Thank you for info, We have been going on Holiday for past 15 years to Denia and wanted to buy somewhere close to Denia but not right in centre. Thats why we looked at Murla. Will be over in October and staying Pago area for 3months so will check out other areas
