Default Murcia area

Hi

Me and my partner have decided to move to the murcia area. I have been visiting for past 15 years as have friends who live between mucia and uk.

Views on Santiago de la Ribera, Los Alcarazes or San Pedro del Pinatar would be appreciated. We love all three.

Learning Spanish is a must so we have just started this so hopefully by October we will have at least the basics to get by.

Our heads are in overloading since making the decision and are unsure whether to rent our house here as it will go towards our monthly income as we do not intend to work along with our savings we will have around £2,200 a month.

Any advice on the tax implications on this.

Would it be better to rent until our house in Uk is sold tax wise or would it make no difference. Obviously will take advice from a lawyer but just an idea would be great as this area seems a little muddy in the water to me.

From how I understand the tax system and residency it may be better to have a home in the UK and rent in Spain and only stay for 183 days but its something that we did not want to do.

wish there was a dummies guide to moving to spain

thank you
