Anyone got a solution/idea for how to stop them in the gardens in the summer?
Some kind of big net (gardens are quite small so this isn't as daft as it sounds)? A fairly high powered fan?

Our gardens are sprayed by the gardener so I have to say we don't get that many. If you just want something to sit under while you are eating in the evening we bought a mozzie net that fixes over the top of our parasol & then hangs down at the sides covering everyone sat round the table. You can also buy gazebo's that have mozzie net curtains around the four sides. Other than that use citronella candles or spray yourselves. Regards Bryony

Or you can get lamps that attract insects so obviously you hang them away from where you are sitting. You would need access to a power source though.
