Default Mozilla Firefox

A month ago I started using Mozilla Firefox. Great browser, stops many pop-ups and zips around more quickly that the old faithful Internet Explorer, IMHO.
However, some secure sites don't allow access using Mozilla and I have to revert to my IE 6.
Anyone have similar experiences ? any workarounds ?

I use Firefox and have only had this problem on one site which, curiously, was not a secure one.

I like being able to prevent the dreaded Macromedia Flash ads which intensely annoy me.

There are various plug-ins and extensions available and you should ensure that cookies are enabled in the Options menu.

thanks for the advice, but that's been done. It's odd that you had the same experience on a non secure site though !
Cheers

It's more likely that the sites are using non-standard techniques suited to IE, rather than the fact they are secure that is causing Firefox to have problems. There are stacks of comments about the technical details - just do a web search on Firefox and Internet Explorer.

I keep IE available for the carrefour online shopping site and use Firefox for almost everything else.

I don't think it's a Spanish-specific issue.
