a tip, leave the "body" of the harness on at least 3 days before the trip so that they are used to it.

Since my wife died 3 years ago i bought a baby seat and my westie bobby sits in that in the front, he should be in the back, was stopped going across the Spanish border heading outward to the UK, he was weiring his harness but sitting in the front seat in the baby chair so he could see out, they just laughed at him and on we went.
They soon get used to them

Hi Ron

I have a lovely picture in my mind of Bobby sitting in the baby seat. Long may you travel together and safe journey to both of you :)

We're a small company that have experience in doing european removals. As a small company we don't have huge overheads and as such our prices are more in line with doing the job yourself. As a rough guide to move the contents of a 2 / 3 bedroomed house to spain we haven't charged more than £2300 and that includes a months free storage. If you want to get in touch when you know when you are moving then email details to [email protected] we'll be more than happy to give you a quote or provide you with advice as well.

One of the things to remember is that, where you appear to be going to live, and we have friends near there, is that the winters will be quite cold, with frosts etc. OK summers will be hot, but make allowances with winter clothing, . It's silly small things we have had difficulty getting out here like material for dress making. Alicante may have better shops than here on the Costa Blanca South so you may find the things we cant.

Cold!!! Frost!!! One of the reasons we are moving to Spain is the better weather. I doubt the winter will last as long as it does in England though! I'm a Lancashire lass born and bred so a bit of frost won't hurt me...better not be too cold though!

I see you are in Playa Flamenca...went there 4 weeks ago for a trip out had a meal in Busters bar...they do a lovely baked potato & tuna :)
