Moving to Menorca
Hi
looking about moving to Menorca and have a few questions if anyone can help:
my wife owns a uk LTD company which she will still run when we are there and we where wondering if:
1- as she will be working for her own company what tax’s will she pay?
2- as she has long term medical condition of colitis and she takes a lot of medication does anyone have any indication of cost of medication or as she has a uk based business if she gets any assistance at all with the medical bills it’s our biggest worry as I know here in the uk she just pays a yearly prescription cost as we work and are worried about the cost?
3 - how easy is it to get a mortgage in Menorca?
but to be honest our biggest concern is the medical side of things hope someone can help on this

Here is an overview of the Spanish tax system. The site also provides other basic advice on various issues including healthcare. As always, much will depend on your own personal circumstances. If your wife operates a UK limited company then you should check with HMRC regarding tax liabilities in the UK but there is a reciprocal tax agreement with Spain (until Boris pulls up the drawbridges).
