Looking forward to meeting up.

Bet you are very excited now, and probably quite apprehensive too.

Good luck for tomorrow.

Not sure about Javea but we are about 70 kms away and it is extremely windy and dull at the moment. Hope it is better in Javea, they do seem to have a unique weather system there.

we do indeed - however we have just had an incredibly windy night, with a bit of rain

it has died down a bit now though, thankfully

whatever weather we do get often seems to get 'stuck' in the bay..............usually that's good, but if it's bad wetaher it's not so welcome

we had an amazing sunset last night - my daughter took these

Thank you, we made it to Javea finally after a few hiccups.

It will take some time to settle in, firstly we need a Christmas tree!

how did the househunting trip go?

Hi
I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a doctor in Javea, I think one of our children has an ear infection.

Also my husband is looking to rent office space or space in an office to put his desk, he needs about 10 square meters.

(I would have started a new thread but for some reason my iPhone is limiting the access on the forum.)

Thanks

usually I'd suggest just going to the farmacia - but they are on strike for the next 3 days - Toni in Avda Augusta near the Mercadona between the port & the Arenal is brilliant

do you have your EHIC cards ?

if so, go to the state Salud in the old town in Plaza de la Constitución near the underground car park & where the Thursday market is

if not - then I recommend http://www.euroclinicajavea.com/ they speak English & Dra Rosa is lovely

it's near the Wok & Barclays in the Arenal area

I'll have a ponder about office space

Hi everyone,
Well we have decided on javea and looking forward to moving over beginning of march. We're a family of 4 our twins are 8 years old so just been checking out the schools lady Elizabeth and also xic. We're due to fly out on the 23rd of January once hubby home from offshore :) so were hoping to secure a long term rental contract on a 4 bedroomed villa. If anyone can give me some advise as to schools I would be gratefull. Also if there is any after school activities for my twins 1 boy and I girl.

Also is there a javea specific forum so I can meet new friends for myself as hubby works away 4 weeks at a time.

Anyways were all very much looking forward to our move :)
And I wish everyone else starting out the very best

Have you found a villa? Are you all ready to move?
The weather has been so lovely & our children have loved playing on the beach.
