I have a short term contract (3-6 months) which I'm about to start in Gib.

I am a UK citizen.

I can't find any advice online as to whether (a) I need to apply for residency or (b) I need a work visa.

Can you help?

Any paperwork required will be covered when you register with Tax and Social Security.
The main thing is to register for Medical cover which requires the above first.

Your employer will / should guide you through it all
