Benahavis used to be a nice drive up there in the evenings
As for San Pedro haven't been for years, mainly because of the traffic but it was spoilt for me when they built all those thousands of apartments on the sea side then started digging up the Main street.
Doesn't really affect Estepona though, I would just take the toll road. TBH driving down the coastal road I just don't recognise anything anymore from San Pedro until reaching Sabanillas. Just blocks and blocks, especially around La Duquesa!

Went to Sabanillas this morning no hold ups at all, mind the potholes in the roadworks though. 

Oh and mind all the drunken Brit stag and hen parties on the way home from last night. (someone living in UK told me about them
