appreciate any help on this but I just looked up mothballs & they are called bolas de naftalina, is that correct? & do pharmacias sell them or ferreterias?
If not available here in Spain, what else can I use to deter mice.
Apparently mice don´t like mothballs so I want some, well, rather a lot actually.
Cheers, thanks for your help.

Mothballs have been banned from sale in UK but are readily available here in any of the 'Chinese Bazaars'.
(The only reason I know this is that I used to be a beekeeper and we used them all the time to deter wax moths

Mucky Donna sells them because Mrs Posh wanted to deter me from entering her knicker-draw.

Also We use them to take the Doggie smells from the 4x4 after the dogs have been in the Sea. So we bought ours from there.

Hmmm, personally I would use traps and poison. I don't believe in p*ssing about with deterrence when it comes to vermin.
Mouse proofing is difficult as a young mouse can get thru a hole if you can stick a bic biro thru it.
Having said that, it's still worth a try.

Well, the OP did say "If not available here in Spain, what else can I use to deter mice.
Apparently mice don´t like mothballs so I want some, well, rather a lot actually."
