The other ridiculous thing about the original article was that it described Gandia (80k + winter,100k + summer) as a village. Just who writes this stuff.

It is frightening, when you read about somewhere you're familiar with, just how often the journalists get it wrong. I suspect they often filch from the same crib-sheet written 20 years ago.
