There are some apps that can be put on a Firestick that allow you to watch UK Tv outside the UK without a VPN, Redbox, Rapidstreamz, Streamfire and Livenet are ones that i know can be put on a firestick and work. They are free and yes they drop out now and again but generally they are ok .

So, you are in Spain. Can you get BBC iPlayer and ITVX directly without some dodgy IPTV system?
if you can it’s a miracle as no one else can without a VPN or smart DNS.
Tell is how you have done it.

Thanks for all the answers.we got a taxi to media mart next to the miramar shopping centre and they had loads.
there is the same shop in the shopping center and when I asked there last week they said they never stocked them!!
so glad I went.
the main problem was I got nord vpn from googling best vpn for firestick and after paying for the year I find it’s not comparable with the old sticks.
The pisser is surf shark and one more would work but it would mean paying again and also it warned me that it wouldn’t be able to upgrade on such an old stick. This con is so you have to buy new because I have the space for the updates.
Its not until you get it plugged in and then it tells you what is compatible. When I purchased nord it never said will not work on earlier fire sticks.
i think with everything I’ve paid, taxis mi-fi box 100 gig card and new stick I could have had someone come and sort the T.V lol thankyou everyone ðŸ‘

Nord works on all firesticks no matter what age, and Apple TV (We have a v2 one from god knows when)
It even runs on my Mac and thats 12 years old (ok I had to install an old version)...
If you go to the Nord website you can check which version works on your firestick...
We have a strange issue, the other day the 'smart' Tv decided to update itself and it now runs BBC I player without Nord.. It does have a smart DNS but thats not worked very well for ages.
The firestick and the chromecast are still Ok, with the BBC turning off every so often.
I dont care as I dont watch TV.. Im sat here in the art room listening to a cassette I recorded at some point of Kenny Everett's Saturday show on London's Capital Radio...

The difference is that receiving IPTV streams that contain material that is not licenced outside its country of origin and is normally charged for (typically Sky) is illegal. BBC and ITVX etc are a bit of a moot point. The BBC licence fee is an issue, but not having one is only illegal under UK law.
Also I refuse to pay some criminal organisation to access their stolen product.
None of this changes the fact that you cannot access UK PSB channels directly on a Firestick without a VPN or equivalent.

Our internet package at home comes with a VPN included as part of the package. We needed something to use with an android box or firestick when away for longer breaks. I came across "Whenaway" it unblocks all the main uk channels iPlayer, ITVx ,More4 and the channel 5 one. You can buy a one week pass for £5.99 or one month pass for £9.99. Its ideal for holiday home users etc as no long term contract to keep paying. I found it worked perfect.
