Any body got an idea or been offered a good mortgage deal recently, I have been in touch with a broker and the best deal he offers is:-

For 150k E

25yrs interest only first 5 years
Monthly Euribor (0.9%) plus 2.6% interest only or Monthly Euribor plus 2.3% capital and interest

Redemption 0.5% first 5 yr and then 0.25%

No compulsory life insurance

Seems dear to me!

Any advice, contacts or banks to try direct?

At the moment you will be lucky to get a mortgage at all!

Thank you Fred for your input, it makes me feel better if someone thinks it is a good deal!

As far as getting a mortgage we are in a good position, therefore we want to exploit this position and fund a villa purchase at hopefully a bargain price.

any one else any info/current deals out there ?
