Anyone have any ideas how I can go about getting one, only type of licence I have is a provisional motorbike licence but thats UK only.

You can drive upto a 125cc scooter on your UK license if you have an A provisional on your paper license

Just go and ask at any moped/scooter dealer....there are many!

Oh btw, now that we've bought our beast, we are selling our scooter....check it out on the classifieds section

UK provisional licences are not valid outside the UK.

You can drive a 125cc bike on a full UK car licence.

For a ciclomotor (49cc) you will need to get a Licencia de Conduccion which you can only get as a resident after passing a test.
