SUPERPOT is an unknown quantity at this point
Default MONTE PEDREGUER

Does anyone live in Monte Pedreguer?
We are looking at moving down that way and any information would be very useful.
Schools,hospitals,doctors,banks,etc.
Are the properties serviced with landlines, mains electric, gas etc?
All comments whether good bad or indifferent are most welcome.
Thanking you all in anticipation.

Jeff

Hi SUPERPOT,
When we were last in Oliva we asked about Monte Pedreguer and was advised to consider/ask if the house gets the winter sun. Have you had a look at practical spain website? As they mention health care but I think it's mainly the Gandia area.
May I ask why you are looking at that area?

Monte Pedreguer is stuck up a hill, in the afternoons they get a cold wind and I know of many residents there who had always been shown around in the mornings. If they had known what it was like in the afternoons/evenings they wouldn't have bought. It's a 5 minute drive to Pedreguer itself for the nearest amenities. Although there is a restaurant at the entrance to Monte Pedreguer (Monroes) it's not a place that I would ever consider eating in ever again!

Sorry for being negative but I would look elsewhere if you need to be closer to amenities

I have friends who live there and they regret buying there. There is a fierce breeze up there which makes sitting by the pool rather miserable even in summer! Also, I'm pretty sure that Telefonica does not provide a landline service there so you would have to rely on satellite etc. Pedregeur itself is just another drab Spanish town with an unattractive industrial/commercial site on its outskirts.
