any advice on mobile phones in spain, got a movistar one but cant work out how much credit left on it. Its a pay as you talk , also need to get another one for my daughter. Any advice on best net work, current offers and how to find out how much i have got left on the one i already have. thanks

dial 333 and you will get a message back with the credit
Can be changed to English too, but at the mo, cannot remember how!

If you *can* get Orange, though, they have a good deal on International calls - a 5 euro card gets you 100 minutes of calls back to UK landlines.

Movistar seems to be the best network by a long way - certainly up in the mountains here Orange is non-existant for miles and Vodafone is not much better.

In the phones menu setup look for Idiomas, in there you can change the language.
I found their network cover better than Movistar around here.
