There should be a tax on the phrase "I have always been clear". It would yield an extra £350 million a week for the NHS.

Looking at the yougov link within that post it outlines rights health and pensions etc, however yet again only mentions for health the EHIC nothing whatsoever on pensioners on the S1. Do the Ministers know what the S1 is and how important it is to pensioners retired or retiring to the EU from UK?

Well the Alicante consul office certainly understands (based on some meetings I went too) before total boredom set in.

Yes the Health Department are as you say aware. I recently was asked to attend a Health Department workshop with a view to procedures being simplified. They were running one the following week with similar ain but re the S1. Had i known i would have attended the one re S1_rather than ehic. The fact they were running these workshops at considerable expense and involving people mainly from Health Department from all over England leads me to doubt they wish to end them. However as Lurchio says it is just so frustrating that government ministers seem unable to differentiate between 2 different procedures and just how important the S1 is to retiree expats in the eu, both now and for the future. I have wrote a number of letters but still have no answers.

Bobd22,like you I have sent a letter to an MP,different parties, but if you do get a reply it will be such a bland answer you wonder if you are referring to the same subject. Was earlier watching the coverage of Mrs.May in Poland where she was asked about the status of their citizens in UK after Brexit.I could have quoted in my head the words she would say before she opened her mouth. How many more months can our Govn.waste before coming out with something set in stone as time is passing so quickly.
