Re: Meet up!
Hi Chris,
Thanks for the kind words (and you too Debs.). It was good fun meeting up with you and Mal in Vejer. Look forward to doing it again after September. By then Jan will be out full time and the two mad dogs with her. |

Re: Meet up!
Hi Bil, welcome back!!
Some people on here have needed your strong hand, I can tell you!! I`ve also missed your postings about what you are having for dinner! We had a `perfect weekend` thread a while ago... and I put you down as being in mine...... don`t tell your wife! |
Re: Meet up!
Had an excellent time thanks, and got a lot done. Talking of food, I plan to try adding some mashed chicken liver to the stew to try and thicken it. I saw it on a food programme and thought I'd give it a try. Trouble is that kind of thing leads to a thickening of the waistline. This time I managed to get my weight all the way down to 11 stone 7 pounds, by working so hard I forgot to eat. It's taken me the best part of 4 years to achieve that, so I don't want to slip back. Still, I do like my food.
Perfect weekend? In all honesty, I think that for me it would be the situation where you are no longer aware that it is the weekend. Add good food and wine, and season with friends with whom one can talk, or be silent with. I'd be perfectly happy with the people on here like you and Christine, but we would need someone like Leigh or Matt along as they provide the yeast, zest, call it what you will. Trolls are simply bloody minded idiots, but you do need someone to stir the mix a bit. |
Re: Meet up!
Oh good, lets stir the shite up again shall we?
Just what the forum needs eh? |
Re: Meet up!
As I said, it needs zest, not just bloodymindedness.

Ahhh, bless. Isn't he sweet?
I can never understand why people pay so much for calves liver when chicken liver is so cheap and so good! |
