Default Mattress & Beds

Are Spanish mattress's and beds the same size as English mattress's and beds, will a fitted bed sheet for an English double bed fit a Spanish double bed, same question for single beds, I've read somewhere that Spanish bed and mattress's are smaller than their English equivalent.

A bed pronunciation (helpĀ·info) is a piece of furniture or location primarily used as a place to sleep, but can serve other functions, such as providing a place for sexual intercourse or for relaxation.

To go back to the original question - The spanish offer much more variety in bed sizes than we do in the UK. There are usually two lengths (one is shorter and one the same as UK) and various widths

Be armed with the sizes (width & length) you require in cms and you should be ok!

Re: sheets for Spanish beds. Hope the following info helps?

Single (3') 90 cm
Double (4' 6") 135 cm
King (5') 150 cm

Are you bringing your UK beds with you?
Buying a bed or mattress in Spain can be quite an experience (as we discovered after only few weeks here, armed only with a dictionary and a desire for a good night's sleep!)
