Default Marmite?

I know this is a little (OK very) sad but I miss marmite. I used to buy it in Carrefour and some other supermarkets stocked it around here (Girona province) but now I can't find it anywhere. They used to get a supply in for the summer tourists but I haven't seen any since about March. Peach jam on toast is just not the same.

I'll be making use of Ryanairs rip off baggage charges to bring some back next time I visit family in the UK but I just wondered. Has anyone seen it anywhere in Spain or is there a sudden world shortage?

I´ve seen it in Eroski and Supersol but I don´t know if you have these store in your area. They are only small jars though and quite expensive, but if you love it you´ve just got to have it.

Marmite makes a great fly lure, great for organic farmers out there.

We don't have Supersol but there is an Eroski (used to be Caprabo). I'll give them a try, thanks.

Don´t put in hand luggage like I did as it's classed as a liquid!!!! Bought the largest jar I could find and then watched it binned at security.

Ouch, thanks for the tip. That would be a sad loss.

One time I went home I bought a jar of mustard seeds and put them in my hand luggage as I was trying to bring down the weight of my suitcase. Needless to say they showed up looking suspicious in the scanner which resulted in my bag being unpacked at the security desk. Always fun trying to repack the bag afterwards!
