Marks & Spencers to open big stores in Spain
#1
It's been talked about for a while, but M&S have now commited to expansion overseas. They're returning to Spain with large stores planned for Madrid and Barcelona. Good news all round, I'd say.

Hope they don't mess about with their sizing for Spain. A size large here is a UK small;where on earth do some Spanish get larger sizes? There are some very chunky men and women around. With Primark you have to buy 2 sizes higher than you would in UK. Apart from some dull shapeless clothing on the market, there's nothing much for plus sizes. Perhaps Evans, Matalan and Jackamo could open branches here!

I bought some stuff in M&S London last autumn and have been disappointed with the quality vs price. I will not be bothering to shop with them in Spain and don't miss them at all.
Good luck to them they are going to need it with the stiff competition.
BTW - I see Barclays bank are rumoured to be pulling out of Spain.

Wouldn't buy clothes but some their household stuff is good. Their food is second to none for quality, better than Waitrose.

take a look at their site.
