Mark Thatcher in Spain

I read recently MarK Thatcher is hiding out in Rhonda, Malaga in fear of being kidnapped to to face charges in Equatorial Guinea ,he is acussed of financing a coup there,Thatcher denies it but his employee/mercenary,Simon Mann who just got 34 years there says different!

Spain is supposedly involved and gave the financiers the nod!!

What an embarrassment to his mother eh?

Don't think he ever had one did he, he certainly doesn't now.

His father had a night hood.

Unfortunately he didn’t use it, and the result was Carol and Mark.

Mark Thatcher spawn of sh*te if ever there was one. I liked what one comedian said. 'At her funeral there will be an enormous queue to check she really is dead', and the other one was, 'Instead of all the money to be spent on her funeral, give everyone in Scotland a shovel, and we will dig a hole so deep that we will be able to hand her over to Satan in person.'

Yes, he is Sir Mark Thatcher. The UK Government don't seem to take back Knighthoods from criminals do they - remember Sir Geoffrey Archer? ;)

It was Lord Archer and I think he still sits in the lords and draws his daily fee and Expenses. The best club in London so they say.

Two possibilities,
1.-He is either lost again and doesnt know where he is himself.
or
2.-He is doing a Bin Ladin and hiding out in a cave in case a hit squad come after him....:sneaky:

The guy has a house in Spain on an exclusive gated estate (El Madronal) near Marbella on the San Pedro/Ronda road where he´s living at the moment.
The press are just making more of a drama of it saying he is hiding out in Ronda like a highwayman.

I beleive that his right to the title 'LORD' WAS removed from him after his last spell in jail.

Ahh, good old Maggie. One of the finest PMs the wealthy have ever had. Since the end of the third Reich such leaders have been in short supply.

Mark is his mother's son in every way. A testament to privilege and wealth.

Utter rubbish, she extracted a cancer that was crippling the country and we haven't looked back since.

Lets hope you never have a family member blighted with the horror that is dementia eh Bill

Re: Mark Thatcher in Spain

Au contraire. If she had stopped at reforming the unions, and restored balance, she would have done well. Instead she chose to destroy the miners and the unions. You need balance between management and unions, and emasculating one side isn't balance.

Our mines were some of the best in the world, and if we can't ever open them up, we will have lost access to a massive energy reserve.

Yeah, had dementia in the family, cancer, and best of all watched as they were relentlessly screwed by government.

Maggie will end up buried under a man made lake. - After we have all finished p*ssing on her grave.

Bil fancy you rising to the Matt bait and feeding him more. I liked Maggie. The family made even more money thanks to her and a little hard work of course. I know for a fact Lord Archer is still ennobled. Weston-super-Mare still loves him though these days he keeps a lower profile. He still has a house in Cambridge and a flat in London. One doesn't see him in the Upper House of course even his ego knows when to draw the line. I would have thought most of the people on this forum who have made the move to Spain did so with the proceeds of a house which Maggie made it possible for them to buy. I would take issue on a number of her Foreign policies but this is not the place to discuss same. I think Lady Thatcher is due some respect for what she did in office, As I am sure Bil you will give, When that greedy parasite, John Prescott chokes on a pie and passes to the other side ... http://bestsmileys.com/eating1/3.gif

Bill we are very close friends with the Bells, and the subject of the mines has come up countless times and as far as the financial situation stood at the time we were spending more money extracting the coal out of the ground than the coal we were being offered from overseas, therefore it made perfect ECONOMIC sense to close them. Surely even you can see that if something is cheaper from another source then you go with it, I mean surely thats just what you are doing in Spain, going to where your POUND can be stretched further.
You see, not so much of a socialist after all are we?
