Hi, have heard there was a "shut down" in Marbella today, have just looked up news on Marbella and seen the following:-
Crime/Incidents
Nineteen arrested in money-laundering probe
By: thinkSPAIN
Three of the nineteen people arrested in Málaga province earlier today on money-laundering charges are public notaries. All are accused of laundering money related to prostitution and drugs trafficking on an international scale.
Around 230 officers took part in this morning's operation -codenamed operation 'Hidalgo'- that included raids on twelve properties, including the luxurious Marbella Club Hotel and a legal practice in Marbella, where some of the arrests were made.
It is also known that Dutch police are searching a property in Holland although no more information is available at this stage.
The investigation is linked to the ongoing 'Ballena Blanca' money-laundering operation that led to the arrests of more than fifty people of various nationalities accused of laundering more than €250 million euros.
During this investigation, more than 250 properties have been seized as well as other assets worth around €350 million.
Two of the three notaries arrested today are already under investigation as part of the 'Ballena Blanca' operation.
Seems, roads were shut off and businesses affected, anyone know any more???

Seemed to work for all the others in the various Marbella scams
And the new hospital at Benalmadena was constructed with money given by the big shot from Marbella who is now inside awaiting further inquires
...I only say that because when I went there to have my gall bladder removed last year my surgeon there said you know how this hospital has been funded don't you
Didn't bother me to have the most up to date equipment used on me
It has the very latest equipment for women who have to go every year to have their boobs checked out & associated problems
