Default Mar Menor

we are thinking of looking at Mar Menor to relocate to, can anyone give any suggestions as to which areas are best?

That would depend on what you want and how deep your pockets are?

One persons best is another persons worst..........depends on what you are looking for. It is very seasonal so hectic in the summer but quiet in the winter. The airport at San Javier closed recently so the nearest airport is now either Corvera or Alicante.

I quite like the feel of Los Alcazarez. I've visited a few times and it never seems busy, even in Summer. To be honest Mar Menor is small enough to comprehensively explore in a couple of days.
As stated above, the nearest airport has now closed so that will make the area less desirable, and I would imagine drive down property prices.
