There used to be someone who posted on here who operated a man and van service to Spain from UK. Not seen him lately is he still around?

No idea but surely he was not advertising this on the forum as it is against the rules. Responding to your query either on the open forum or via PM would mean that he will lose his membership so I do not believe that you will gain an answer.

If you look on Facebook, there are many groups, dedicated to expats in Spain.
And you can ask the question there and will surely get many replies and recommendations.

I would imagine that most of them are no longer offering this service.
Our neighbours moved back to the Uk to look after a parent last year and they had no end of trouble finding a company willing to move the ten or so boxes.
They ended up paying a lot to the company who transported their dogs as they were the only people who were happy doing the paperwork for the goods as well.

We were over in the Uk in April and the customs at Bilbao port were stopping all vans and campers but didn't stop one car. And that was in both directions.
Try your local free paper or facebook groups, is anyone is still doing it, thats where they will advertise.
