We have to collect some friends in a few days time from the airport. With the opening of Terminal 2 and I gather much confusion from some other friends, to get in and out, does anyone know how one parks and where to meet arrivals etc?

We have tried looking on a map, which did not show much.

Right, what I do now is I go in the main entrance (just up from the san miguel factory) then I take a right fork following the sign that says "Llegadas" - it also says no unauthorised vehicles - which I and everyone else ignores. That takes you onto a bit of a dirt track which you follow round, you go around the dirt roundabout, past the control tower entrance and the taxis and then you come to a new big glass place with a big frontage on your right! I usually park opposite that - but you're not supposed to so you have to stay with the car! If the guardia come up, just smile sweetly and plead ignorance, say you're "perdido", go round and do it all again!!

All that said, it may well have changed by now, I went there on Sunday, but its changed everytime I've been recently

Or just park in the usual carpark and walk past where the old entrance hall was a bit further to the new one.

If you park as jdr say´s in usual car park, that´s the main public car park, go as far to the right as you can and on the 2nd floor is best.There is a moving walkway that takes you across into new terminal, there are sign posts to put you in right direction, then take lift back down to arrivals hall.

I've wondered how to do it properly lol!!! I pick up and drop my OH twice a week and this whole new set up has totally ruined my routine, but thats why I do a quick in and out! However, I'm flying back on Friday, so I guess that'll be fun!!!!!!

But doesnt it all look spectacular now!!!
