Hi everyone. I'm a third year journalism degree student in Falmouth back in the UK. I'm writing a feature about British Expats in Malaga and how the current economic climate is effecting them, especially with everything that's just happened in Cyprus.
I'm going to be visiting Malaga in three weeks time and it would be great to meet up with some people, especially if there are any British business owners who would be prepared to speak to me.
Thanks in advance, any other pointers or suggestions welcome.

As Concierge for the Spanish section of BE I would like to say hello and welcome.
BE is a very large expat website, so if you have problems finding your way around we have concierges who will try to direct you. The moderators for the Spanish forums are Mitzyboy and Fred James, moderators are there to ensure that the site runs smoothly within the rules of BE. Problems and complaints should always be addressed to a moderador who will look into the matter and deal with it efficiently and fairly. Our members who post in the Spain Forums are friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge of the issues of living in Spain. At the top of the page you will find a quirkily named thread called Free Beer which is full of important and useful information. Hope you enjoy your time participating in the forums.
Are you from Cornwall or are you doing the course in Falmouth because it is a good centre? Do you get the chance to gain experience on the local papers such as The Cornishman, The West Briton, The Packet, Western Morning News etc or is that not part of your course at all?
Please let me know if you need any further help.

Hi Rosemary, thanks for your reply.
I've checked out some of the site and there is some great info thanks.
I came here for the degree but I also live here now, shame the weather isn't better though!
