I listened to the video from 10.30 and Hitchens didn't come to the point. What point was he trying to make?

Chipmunk, is so.
Jimenato, just that. Thanks again.
I'd been told that my understanding was flawed. You've answered twice that it wasn't, but the one that cast the aspersion hasn't

Van Tam (Deputy chief medical officer England) has just said in a government briefing on BBCTV that they don't know if the vaccines stop you catching and passing on the virus.
If it turns out they don't work that way, are we creating a large group of vaccinated people who won't get ill, but will be carriers who can go around freely infecting those who can't or won't be vaccinated?

I understand from some Spanish friends that the Spanish government is considering charging people for hospital treatment if they contract Covid after having refused the vaccination.
It appears other countries are also considering this option.

In the absence of any evidence to the contrary, I'll take that as a "No" then.

My understanding is that the vaccine, at least the one currently used in the UK, does not prevent someone catching the virus or passing it on. It only stops the recipient becoming ill.
If this is true then those colleagues who have had the vaccination will also present a risk to their colleagues.
