Default Madrid

Hi guys and gals

I just found this website and thought I'd put a thread to find people in Madrid.

I've just moved to Madrid in November so I'm still pretty new to the place, and still getting lost more than I thought I would. I'm just wondering if anyone here is in Madrid? Any suggestions of places to go or things to experience?

Happy New Year!

Cheers!

I'm in Madrid. Well, weekends, anyway.

Suggestions on what to do rather depend on what sort of person you are. If you're young free and single, you don't want to know about schools and playgrounds from the likes of me.

Plenty of the usual things are covered by the tourist books and you'll spot other things as you work your way through them. Keep an eye open for InMadrid freebie paper from the language schools and Irish bars for further up-to-date ideas, as well as the expat mag The Broadsheet from the city centre business area kiosks.

If you want curry, get back in touch. There are quite a few, some of them more Brit-like than others and a group of us get together occasionally for one.
