Default Lunar Eclipse tonight

Global Radio (on the Costa Del Sol) are saying there will be a lunar eclipse tonight if anyones interested.

Though set your alarm because its at about 3.15am in the morning!!! (21st feb)

Hopefully the skies will remain clear. We are getting a slight break from the bad weather and some blue skies at the moment. So would be good if we get to see it and get some good pictures. A nice lunar eclipse over the sea? Sounds like an awesome photo.

Sadly I don't think Ill be up though!

I dont think we'd be seeing much anyway through the clouds that we have

We were lost in the clouds last night and although there are patches of blue today there are too many clouds around so we may not see anything

Clear and bright here now so there is hope for the eclipse. I am always amazed at how quickly the weather changes from dull and miserable to bright and sunny.

Always the same no matter where you live, great weather when you are working and not so good when you are off. We thought that as we are retired and the work we do on the house technically can be stopped at any time that we would not have weekends off but midweek. Nevertheless whenever we plan a day off and go somewhere the weather is usually not so good as when we are busy.

Hi all.

Dragged my ass outta bed at 3.30am last night to get the ecilpse going into totality which happened at 4.01am. I got the camera out and filmed it. Managed to mount the camera and really zoom in. Could see all the lovely details of the moon. Moon was pretty small at that time of night and very high. But i could see it from my balcony. It was really clear last night.

Ill get the stuff downloaded and compiled and will post as soon as I can.

Glad you took pictures because I forgot all about it and slept through it
