Hi, I have recently found this website and have been glued to it since! I recently read an article on autogas in Spain only being available to taxis!! considering Spain practicley runs on bottled propane gas I was amazed! I run a 4 litre gas gussling beast! and the thought of putting petrol into it on a regular basis makes me go quite weak at the knees! Has anyone overcome this problem? (safely I hassen to add!) I had intended to try and get a calor gas vessel installed when I start building in the Barcelona area for general heating etc and if I can find a safe method of getting into the vehicle without loosing car, house, limbs, or all I would be a very happy camper indead! And finally if anyone has bought land / proprty in Spain, how difficult is it to complete without ending up in the funny farm!! Thank You. Regards Martyn.

can anyone tell me if lpg autogas is allowed in spain / mallorca ?
I have a lpg autogas business in the uk and would love to move to spain !
I can convert most petrol cars to run on lpg !
Is there loads of companys in spain doing this ?
Regards
Andy

It is true only Taxis can use LPG. So maybe think again about the business you want to start in Spain.

LPG is a great idea, and is fantastic for the ,
BUT
it melted the pistons after two years because LPG makes the engine run hotter than normal fuel
New engine, time off work, etc etc
not much better off after all that
saying that if you do normal mileage then the car will probably last a life time,
BEWARE anyone buying secondhand LPG cars
